Browser Idiosyncrasies:

Windows

Netscape: Will prompt you to save file.  Save to desktop.  Close browser; find file called PrintInventory.doc.  When it is originally opened, you may be asked if you want Word to be your default HTML editor; if so, click no.
Internet Explorer: Will ask for network password; simply click the CANCEL button.  The Word document will open inside your browser.  Click the VIEW menu and select PRINT LAYOUT.  Then you may edit, print, or save to disk.

Macintosh

Netscape: Will prompt you to save the file.  Save to desktop. Close browser; find file called PrintInventory.asp.  You may rename to PrintInventory.doc but it isn't required.
Internet Explorer: Currently, this browser is not supported on the Mac.  If it is imperative, e-mail us and we may be able to adjust the file helper settings in your browser preferences.

Operational Issues:

1. It could take as long as a minute (or just seconds) to render the Word document depending upon Internet traffic and the size of the file; please be patient.
2. Aesthetically important- To see page breaks, click the VIEW menu and select PAGE LAYOUT or PRINT LAYOUT.
3. You may edit the document before printing if you choose.
4. This report is sorted by teacher name (entered in the "Slot" field within totalTRAC). Variations on names will yield separate pages.  For example, Lilly, Gary Lilly, G.Lilly, and G. Lilly (space after initial) will all return separate pages within the report.  The case of the name does not matter (i.e., "Lilly" and "LILLY" are the same).  To fix this formatting issue, use totalTRAC to standardize the naming convention and re-run the report.
